Promotion Scores
MCCGA divides guards into 10 classes, as described in our
Bylaws.
- Novice Class are judged on MCCGA created judges sheet reinforcing
introductory skills and design.
- Middle School/Junior High, Regional A and
Independent Regional A classes are judged on WGI Regional A
adjudication sheets.
- Scholastic C, Scholastic B, Scholastic A, and Independent A guards
are judged on WGI Class A sheets.
- Scholastic and Independent Open guards are judged on WGI Open Class
Sheets.
- Scholastic and Independent World guards are judged on WGI
World Class sheets.
Due to this structure, scores cannot be compared between the
classifications. Promotion scores are determined by reviewing scores from
the previous season and adjusting based on WGI’s judging sheets.
